Saint Paul to Camp Shelby  March 15th, 2006

On March 15th 2006, the Saint Paul Serving our Troops crew once again took their Saint Paul show on the road and served it up for the troops. On a sunny day in Camp Shelby, Mississippi, more than 70 volunteers served nearly 8,000 steak dinners to our soldiers, families, and other military personnel as they awaited deployment to Iraq. It was a special message of support for our troops and a reminder that folks from home remember them and appreciate their dedicated and brave service to our Country.

This special dinner for the troops came complete with Mancini’s steaks, Cossetta’s salads, ice cold Grain Belt Premium beer, music from both Paddy Wagon and Brian Leighton, and a host of other Saint Paul flavored items. As our troops headed for a year-long deployment in Iraq, the Serving Our Troops team worked to give them a proper send off – Saint Paul style!
