Serving Our Troops, in partnership with Fox Sports North and the Minnesota Wild hosted the 9th Annual Hockey Day MN on January 17th, 2015 at Holman Field in Saint Paul. For the first time ever, an outdoor hockey arena was build in spectacular fashion atop an active airfield.

Perfect weather, thousands of fans in attendance and broadcast to more than 40 million viewers, it made for a truly unforgettable weekend in the State of Hockey.

The event was linked live nearly 7,000 miles away in Kuwait where KFAN’s Dan Barriero, Lou Nanne, Tom Reid, and community leaders dropped the puck and greeted deployed MN National Guard members from the Saint Paul based 34th Combat Aviation Brigade and 2-147th Assauly Helicopter Battalion.
